If you are a fan of Indiana Jones, and also the author, Lloyd Alexander,  you will love this book.  The main character, Vesper Holly, is a 17 year old girl: fiesty, adventuresome, and smart.  The setting is Central America.  She owns a volcano!  This volcano is believed to be dormant. Guess what?  It is very much the opposite.  Vesper defies all odds to save an entire tribe of Chirica Indians, as well as her guardian and herself.  If you like adventure, check out this book.  It is located in the "Read a Red Book" display, located in the library cafe area.
