If you are a reader who admires Emily Bronte and her famous works, such as Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights, you will enjoy this book.  It is a story of her life - but not in a  biographical format.  The story begins when she is 14 years old, already aware of her gift, as a writer.  When her beloved father grows ill,  her life crumbles and she must come to terms with lots of insecurities.  This is a well written book that gives a great insight into the life of a famous writer.
